For fishing enthusiasts of all backgrounds, Glow Buoy illuminates
new frontiers as the essential companion built for sea, safety and
seeking adventure around the clock.

We’re recreational fishers, hooked on the adventure of the sea. After patiently
waiting for the season, we’re out on our rigs for leisurely days at sea with friends and family. Over time, we’ve perfected crabbing by day and lobster fishing by night, using nets and traps. But there’s always one catch and not the kind we want.

As night falls, tracking our buoys proved to be difficult in low light. Frustrated
by the difficulty of fishing at night and self-assembling subpar light buoys, our
founder, a lifelong fisherman and innovator had a literal light bulb moment. He asked, why isn’t there a buoy with a built-in light that eases navigation and saves time? Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could corral crustaceans and cast nets around
the clock with a grab-and-glow lamp?

Glow Buoy is the spark of an idea that we quite literally brought to life, opening up a new experience for our glowing community of recreational fisherfolk. A deceptively
simple solution means we spend less time fumbling in the dark and more time
exploring new frontiers of a life well-lit, all while keeping an eye on the prize.
